Carmen Electra (born Tara Leigh Patrick on April 20, 1972, in Sharonville, Ohio) is an American actress, model, singer, and media personality who first rose to fame in the early 1990s. She began her entertainment career as a dancer, later being discovered by Prince in Minneapolis, who produced her self-titled debut album in 1993 and helped define her stage name. Electra made waves as a glamour model with multiple appearances in Playboy beginning in 1996, and achieved broader recognition as lifeguard Lani McKenzie on the hit TV series Baywatch (1997–1998). She went on to star in a string of parody comedies—including Scary Movie—and became a celebrated ‘90s sex symbol and pop culture icon. In recent years, Electra has embraced creative reinvention. At age 50, she launched an OnlyFans page to gain full control over her image and connect more intimately with fans. She describes the move as a “no-brainer” that empowers her to be her own boss—sharing beauty tutorials, swimwear and lingerie content, vacation footage, and “more sexy, classy pictures and videos” without censorship. This bold step reflects her evolution from a Hollywood figure shaped by others to an artist and entrepreneur with autonomy and creative vision.
